Happy Pills

Many believe that running is performed to be physically healthy; which is true. I personally find running to stimulate my brain with endorphins. Over the past month I have experienced this to be so true. I was running 35-40 miles per week and loving it. Felt wonderful. Then due to a hip injury I stopped running and could not run for over 3 weeks. I quickly felt the emotions swing from positive and happy to negative and sad more frequently. My eating habits went from being good to not so good. I without question understand the importance of running in my life. Running is a drug I cannot live without. Plus, who would turn down free drugs that improve every area of your life :)
